I just uploaded a file of the executive summary States
had to meet for awards. This should set the record straight as to why
Wisconsin was not receiving the award.
I am glad we did not receive the award because of
the additional requirements our school systems would have had to comply
with.
My reason for doing this was to correct the
statement our Governor gave today. After going over the requirements it's
very clear Wisconsin school systems(unions) will not allow acceptable levels
of assessments of schools, teachers or students as well as the condition
of the Milwaukee school systems. Even the Obama administration is not
impressed with the Wisconsin School system, this maybe a good
thing.
