Re: [glennbeck-wi] Fox News 2nd largest shareholder is a Saudi Prince

Do you think if I own 7% of stock in a company, I could significantly influence its business decisions?  It's 7% not 70.
I think the company MIGHT humor me a little by possibly changing the wording of something in their portfolio if I complained enough but in the end the company would say, "go ahead and sell, there are lots of other buyers".  When customers of the company that I work for cause too much hassle (cost us more than their business is worth) we sometimes have to make the choice to fire the customer.  You should find out everything the Saudi's own a stake in and publish the list.  I'm sure they are all under Saudi control.  I bet the Saudi's spread their money all over.  I sure would if I had that much.  They are in the business of making money and Fox News is a good investment.  Just because someone ownes 7% stock in something doesn't automatically mean they control it.  That requires a much more substantial percentage.  Not that I don't believe that the Saudi's were able to get Fox to change the wording of some text scrolling on the bottom of the screen but I'd like some proof more substantial than some hearsay account from some Saudi prince that I trust as far as I can throw him.

Thanks for questioning everything though.  I so feel It is good to think about these things.

It would seem the Saudi royal family investments in media have increased over the years and the FOX news channel has not been around as long as the others.
