High-Speed Rail Informational Meeting

YIKES! I meant to get this meetup posted ahead of schedule this week, but clearly another hectic week has taken its toll. Forgive my tardiness.
Here's the scoop...
Instead of our usual meeting at Kavanaugh's, we're headed to an informational meeting on the proposed High-Speed Rail line between Madison and Milwaukee. The meeting is sponsored by the East Isthmus Neighborhoods Planning Council. The more of us that attend, the better. This project is a folly that will cost taxpayers a fortune for decades into the future with little or no positive return. It's also another opportunity for progressives to establish more hard-to-get-rid-of, unelected, unaccountable taxing bodies. That's taxation without representation, and we've had quite enough of that.
Let's go and make sure we're asking plenty of pointed, informed questions.
The meeting will be held from 6 to 8pm at the Goodman Community Center in room Evjue D.
