Kavanaugh's Esquire Club (map)
Friends,
Every cloud has a silver lining.
In having to postpone our next candidate forum, it turned out that Brett Davis, candidate for lieutenant governor, was unable to reschedule along with us. He didn't want to miss the opportunity to meet and talk to us, though. So, he's agreed to come for a more informal discussion at our weekly meeting this week since it's the same time and day as the forum would have. I've just confirmed with his campaign manager, and we're good to go.
This is an EXCELLENT opportunity to do some up-close, in-person vetting. Don't miss it. Even if you don't usually make it to a meeting, try to get to this one. The better we get to know the 2010 candidates for state and federal offices, the better we will be able to discern who best aligns with the constitutional principles for which we stand.
We'll take care of some brief business at the beginning of the meeting. Brett will arrive at 7:30. He'll have a few minutes to share his platform with us. After that, we'll open it up to questions from group members. Members of our sister group, We the People of the Republic, are also invited, so hopefully we'll have a great turnout for this important conversation.
I look forward to seeing you there.
Kirsten
