Yes! As Roberto has already noted, we are meeting this week! And I'm finally able to access the site in order to set up the official notice. Hooray!
On the agenda:
1. Debrief on the Health Care Freedom Amendment event taking place in the morning and apprisal of next steps.
2. Discussion of need for an amendment to protect Wisconsin's National Guard from federal control in peace time.
3. Continued Planning for Tax Day Rally, report on parking possibilities (Dave and Ruth Ann) and request for volunteers
4. Continued Planning for Candidate Forum, including selection of questions and a moderator
5. Assessment of any needs in relationship to county board elections, and decisions about where we will focus our efforts.

from around the Madison area. Learned about the things we can do to influence our local elections, and once those are over on April 6, move on to the State and National races. Good information about our upcoming Madison Tea Party Apr 14-16, and also some update on the Tea Party Express which will be stopping in Madison on Apr. 6 at a site still to be determined. Good ideas expressed by many of the members at the meeting, and we hope this is the beginning of having larger meetings like this in the future. People seem to be very excited to learn and help out.
