Due to a slight billing hiccup, The Wisconsin 9/12 Project Meetup site will be around for a little longer. However, leadership will cease to maintain it on approximately May 20th, 2012.
While the Meetup site is going away...
THE WISCONSIN 9/12 PROJECT WILL LIVE ON!
Please come and register at our new site, which is already up and running:
http://www.wisconsin912project.org
We look forward to having you participate there. :-)

------------
The Wisconsin 9/12 Project is a non-partisan grassroots movement dedicated to restoring the rightful authority of the American people in determining the scope, size, and direction of government.
Our nation and state are now in crisis. Our elected officials have buried us in debt, devalued our currency, and compromised our national credit. They are stealing the future of those who haven't yet even been born. Moreover, they have trampled on our freedoms, passing law after law that fails to respect the inalienable rights guaranteed to us in our Constitution
However, the largest share of blame belongs to us. As citizens, we were meant to participate actively in our system of representative government. For decades, we ignored our civic responsibilities. Members of this group have committed to active involvement in the civic process so that we can finally begin to restore to our communities, state, and nation limited government and greater freedom for all.
While this group is concerned about all levels of government, we choose to focus the majority of our efforts on state and local issues. Working to ensure that state and local government operate according to common-sense, constitutional principles is the most effective way to "short-circuit" any unconstitutional movement at the federal level.
If you share our passion for restoring common sense and ensuring freedom through the civic avenues open to us, come and join us! We're waiting to meet you...
Welcome!

P.S. We have one group guideline that we hold to strictly. Please see the following page for further information to ensure that this group is a good fit for you before joining:

Joint PUBLIC HEARING Assembly Committee on Elections and Campaign Reform Senate Committee on Labor, Elections and Urban Affairs. Assembly Bill 895, Senate Bill 640, Assembly Bill 892, Senate Bill 645? All proposing changes in how Wisconsin runs elections 10:00 AM 412 East State Capitol. Being informed is great but having all this show up less than 24 hours before it happens really does not help very much, I have no chance to contact anyone else before its too late.
