Informational Session on Wisconsin's Health Care Freedom Amendment
As many of you know, the grassroots coalition in the State of Wisconsin is responsible for drafting and advancing what has become known as Wisconsin's Health Care Freedom Amendment. The legislation now has bipartisan support in the Wisconsin Legislature and is advancing through the legislative process. If passed, the amendment would become a part of our state constitution and allow Wisconsin to "opt out" of any federally mandated health care plan.
Our sister group, We the People of the Republic, has invited Tim Dake of the Wisconsin GrandSons of Liberty to speak on the history of the legislation, how it fits in with a movement that is taking place across the country, and what next steps are required in order to move the Amendment forward.
Tim is the organizer of the Wisconsin GrandSons of Liberty, a grassroots group in the Milwaukee area with whom we have a relationship. He has been particularly instrumental in helping to draft and advance the Health Care Freedom Amendment. He is energetic, articulate, and well-informed.
Please come and hear what Tim has to say and find out what you can do to help get this legislation moved successfully through the amendment process.

Roberto DeanWhat a treat! Those of you that couldn't make it missed out on meeting and listening to Tim Dake of Wisconsin Grandsons of Liberty. His portion of the presentation regarding an amendment blocking the healthcare bill was outstanding. We should be hearing more of this stuff from our legislators and the media.

Dr. Stein gave an enlightening presentation from the perspective of a doctor who would have to work under the onerous machinations of the Obamacare plan. It is very apparent that this plan would increase spending astronomically
, and be a burden to our children and grandchildren. Tim Dake did a very thorough explanation of the constitutional rational for the Healthcare Freedom Amendment, and how it would create freedom for people to continue to make their own healthcare choices. Excellent overall presentation.
