Shoreland Zoning Hearing in Sun Prairie

Friends,

Don't forget that in lieu of our regular meeting at Kavanaugh's this week, we'll be attending the Shoreland Zoning Hearing at the Sun Prairie City Office.

At 6pm, Phil Salkin, Government Affairs Director for the Wisconsin Realtor's Association, has graciously agreed to provide us with a 20-minute presentation in the Caucus Room on the 2nd floor in advance of the hearing. That provide some excellent fodder for those willing to register to speak.

The actual hearing starts at 7pm. I've never been to the building before, but my guess is there will be a strong turnout, and the right room won't be hard to find.

If you can't make the presentation at 6pm, try to come for the hearing anyway.

If you don't register to speak, please at least register. They need to know people are not in favor. The proposed reassessment of property values can only have a negative impact on all of us.

I look forward to getting more educated and taking a common-sense stand with you on Wednesday night.
