Wednesday Night Meeting at Kavanaugh's

Don't forget! This is the last Wednesday of the month.

As agreed by the group, the last Wednesday of each month will be a two-hour meeting so that we can have a regular session followed by an hour for organizational steering and planning.

First hour:

1) Reports back on info that will help us continue to plan an outreach showing of "Not Evil, Just Wrong"
2) Continued planning on that outreach showing
2) Reports back on what school districts have shown Al Gore's "An Inconvenient Truth"
3) Brief strategy discussion around next steps for getting "Not Evil, Just Wrong" shown in schools
4) Report back from those who were able to attend county budget or zoning sessions
5) Brief strategy discussion around getting more people to city council and county board meetings
6) Setting a schedule and format for inviting candidates to come and speak to us

It's an ambitious first hour, so we may, once again, have to table the last item till next week. I do know that both Peter Theron and Chad Lee would be more than willing to come and speak to us, though, so we should make sure to find a way to make that happen. Vetting candidates is IMPERATIVE.

Second hour:

1) Next steps in shaping and growing the group
2) Thinking ahead about the legal status of the group
4) Roundtable to determine future issues for discussion
