Kavanaugh's Esquire Club (map)
If you haven't made it to one of our regular meetings yet, I strongly encourage you to attend this week's. A number of important issues are on the table. They include:
1) Report on the CFACT counter-rally to Al Gore's presentation at the Conference for the Society of Environmental Journalists
2) Report on the Lord Monckton speech on the UW-Madison campus (Lord Monckton is a former advisor to Margeret Thatcher. He has on numerous occasions asked to debate Al Gore on the "climate change" issue but has consistently been refused or ignored.
3) AB 458, the Sex Education bill discussed in the Wisconsin Assembly's Education Committee last week. This bill has devastating implications for our children and the fabric of our society. I hope to have one of our members present who was at the hearing so she can tell us exactly what she saw and heard. We will then brainstorm ways to combat this legislation and stand for family values.
4) Local politics watch. We will begin discerning how we can effectively keep apprised of what's happening at the state and local levels and how to make our voices heard.
5) Opportunities to meet U.S. Congressional and Senate candidates. Our group is non-partisan, so we can't endorse anyone. But we can provide a forum for candidates to come and tell people where they stand on the issues. We'll talk about how to use these opportunities to the greatest advantage of the group and the public.
6) Roundtable concerning any additional member concerns.
We look forward to seeing you there! Bring your friends and neighbors!
For Freedom,
Kirsten
