Greetings, Fellow Wisconsin 9/12ers!

I am finally able to announce another meetup for Madison-area folks.

Those who live close enough to make it, I very much hope you'll come. Those who are farther out, I hope you'll find a way to stage a similar discussion in your part of the state. We need everyone pulling together.

This meetup will serve as an opportunity to discuss some important matters. With a little help from one of our other members, we've acquired space at a Madison restaurant for two hours.

We'll take the first hour to discuss a couple of readings. You can find the first of these at the link below. The second is posted under the Files tab of this Meetup page. The two documents relate closely. Please take the time to read both in advance of the meeting so that we can have an informed exchange about regionalism, locally-implemented environmental policy, and the way both are being used to undermine our republic.

The second hour will be devoted to an exploration of ways we can advance our aims, become more effective as a group, and expand our numbers.

We need your voice to make all aspects of this discussion productive and applicable. Please don't miss it.

There is no charge for the event. However, since we'll be meeting at a restaurant well-disposed to our cause, I would gently encourage you to order a beverage and/or something to eat. Let's continue to foster the good will extended to us!

I look forward to seeing you on the 30th so that we can encourage one another in the battle to take back our republic and strategize the role we can play in that noble cause.

The discussion about local and State issues was beneficial. Taking the national ideas and putting them to use at a local level seems like a natural progression. Thanks to Kirsten for putting together this and other meetups.
