The Wisconsin 9/12 Project, a Madison-based grassroots group will host a candidate event on January 27th, from 7-9pm. Two candidates for public office will be available to meet the public and answer questions:

7:00pm, Dave Westlake, challenger to Russ Feingold, U.S. Senate
8:00pm, Ben Collins, candidate, Wisconsin Lieutenant Governor

Each candidate will make a brief presentation at the beginning of his scheduled hour, followed by moderated question and answer for approximately 20-30 minutes. The remainder of each hour will be opened for general questions from the audience.

In such an important election cycle, it's critical that we as voters know precisely where candidates stand and for whom we're casting our ballots. The Wisconsin 9/12 Project is pleased to provide the public with this opportunity to come and learn more about both participating candidates. Please join us as we together endeavor to get to know these two men and understand their respective visions for Wisconsin and how our state fits into the larger national scene.

Bring as many people with you as you like. Invite friends, family, and neighbors. This is the perfect chance to get a true, first-hand sense of these two candidates.

This information is crossposted on Facebook, where you can also RSVP if you prefer.
